Greg EmersonEditor - Post Producer - TechnologistGreg is a West Coast based post production professional with more than eighteen years of experience and accomplishments. His career has been defined by his wide-ranging experience in both the arts and technology, a unique combination that has allowed him to continuously improve himself and the productions he is involved with. Whether applying his talents from the editor’s chair, designing production pipelines, engineering the technical infrastructure of a facility, or managing teams of editors and technicians, Greg has contributed to a variety of projects spanning documentary, feature animation, live action VFX epics, independant film and television animation. His contributions have earned him more than 150 screen credits and he is not close to stopping.
Though not personally named, his projects have been awarded several golden reel awards for excellence in sound design and mix for multiple animated projects. Animated as well as Indy productions have yielded multiple Emmy nominations and 3 wins. Greg currently sits on the Production Executive Board of Directors for the Television Academy and for his contributions been invited to speak to film students at SF State University, LB State University, Concordia College, St. Johns College and the University of Washington. Some of his most notable credits include Avatar (2009), The Avengers (2012), The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015), Teen Titans Go! (2013-2019 series & 2018 feature) and Mortal Kombat (2019). Greg currently resides in the Los Angeles area with his two sons, enjoying cycling, ice hockey and motorsports. |
